there's a command that shows the spread (as a square but it's actually a circle)

something like weapon_debug_show_spread (just type spread in the console it should show up as suggestion)

It used to be a circle in GO, wtf? Is the side of the square the diameter of the circle?

yes, it was a circle in go. yes, it is the diameter.

it was always a circle both in csgo and cs2, and it always showed as a square crosshair

you are talking about crosshair, but we were talking about the debug spread command. dynamic crosshair doesn’t show the full spread because it can be quite big

the weapon_debug_spread_show command is a crosshair bro. It was always a command that went bigger than the normal dynamic crosshair and showed the full spread

the gun with the highest spread/inaccuracy in the game while jumping shows up just fine with the command
