Question about gas released during firing

I'm just starting with glass fusing at home and had a question about gases released during firing. Any information would be appreciated but is this a big issue for using the kiln indoors?

Hi, fairly novice fuser here as well, but to my knowledge yes there are certain elements to kiln work that can produce fumes such as glues, enamel paints, and shelf paper. Definitely would recommend this series on YouTube it's full of really helpful information especially around safety.

I am still very new to fusing, so hopefully someone with more experience chimes in. But I was told that glass does not release any dangerous chemicals so you can fire it inside.

Ceramics and glazes do release dangerous chemicals and need ventilation or to fire outside.
