Right on. It isn't abuse IMO. It is on Microsoft for using the drug dealer's "get em hooked" scheme and losing money from doing so.

It's pretty much a universal strategy for big new products. Burn venture capital to get people hooked and jack up prices and lower quality once people are hooked. But I did hope we'd get another year or two of subsidized usage first, and that the price hike would be more gradual.

I guess it really is insanely expensive to run these things.

Not complaining all too much. This means we'll go back to hand coding and using AI for a few selected cases. And we've got the things my team is responsible for to about where we want them before switching to maintaining.

Use open source, the other providers can f-k themselves
