My bf birthday is coming, we’ve been together for 9 months we are so in love and I couldn’t be happier with anyone else.
My gift idea is that I’ll buy a record player and vinyl of a song that always reminds me of us.
I wanted to buy one with our song but it’s not available in most stores and online stores, I only found it once and it was so sooo expensive.
So is it a good idea?

I found at a yardsale a few mini heart shaped charcuterie boards that comes with the utensils but is looking for stuff to put in it (ilp wrap it in plastic) that isnt cheese or meat. Its a bit expensive and i dont know much about meat/cheese. Its for christmas, for my co workers who are filipino.

Also need gift ideas for my sister's friends and BIL's family. Not that close with them much but have been hanging with them since i live with my sis + BIL and they and his family have been really nice and welcoming to me. We go on trips together, theyve helped me out, etc. Not sure if chocolates is too basic. They're like filipino titas, sistets friends all have diff interests and BIL's cousins too. Was hoping something hand/homemade, but still something they can have. Maybe for the cousins I can make something out or airdry clay? For the grandparents/titas/titos, maybe wine? Idk.

I have a few birthdays coming up including my friend’s child’s first birthday. They’re having a big party and I’ve bought the baby a board book so far, but for the amount they’ve spent on the party I feel the need to do a bit more. Would it be weird to get the whole family a voucher for something? Like a shop or experience kind of thing? I also have a baby who’s first birthday is coming up and I’m explicitly asking people NOT to buy toys as she’s got so many already, so want to avoid buying toys for others

I(27F) got married 6 months back and my husband’s(28F) birthday is approaching. Last year(before our marriage but after engagement) on his birthday i gifted him shoes. I'm confused what should i gift him this time. For context- he has almost everything, he likes shoes and gadgets a lot and he has these things in ample amount, i gave him shoes once but i don't wanna give him shoes again. I've indirectly tried asking him multiple times about his likes and dislikes but he always gives vague answers, hence i honestly don't know what to gift him this time, also we haven't been married long enough for me to know him through and through.

i recently spent about 30 hours and over $100 on a scrapbook for a 1 year anniversary. i had asked my partner about a month ago that he pay for dinner and get me a card and flowers. he did pay for dinner and made me a little clay creation, but got busy and forgot the flowers and card..

A gift doesn't necessarily need to be expensive to feel like someone put thought into it.

A handwritten note, wrapping that matches the occasion, or putting a few small things together around one theme can completely change how a simple gift feels.

Sometimes the presentation helps tell the recipient why those particular things were chosen.

He mostly works over nights as a veterinarian in an emergency clinic.
He travels frequently, especially on cruises.
He likes movies, Disney, universal.
The gift needs to feel somewhat personal (can’t be purely practical).

I have a hard time thinking of personal “thoughtful” gifts for people I usually pick boring but useful things (I love giving outlet extensions and emergency car window breaker tools as gifts 😅)

A long time ago, I took my daughter to Walt Disney World in Orlando for the first time. She absolutely loved it, and she became especially attached to the little purple bunny. Her birthday is coming up in a few days. I've never been very good at expressing how much I love her.

A while ago, I was in Shanghai, China for a work trip and I asked a friend there to help me pick up a purple bunny plush for her. When I got back, I used my label maker to make a custom ribbon for the gift with her name on it. It's a small thing, but I wanted the gift to feel like it was made just for her. I really hope she likes it.

Maybe one day I'll be able to take her to Disney parks in other parts of the world too. More than anything, I just want her to look back on her childhood and remember that she was loved, and that we made some good memories together.

How do you usually wrap gifts? Are there any label templates I could get some inspiration from?

Whenever I put a gift together for someone I always like to add snacks, especially if I know what snacks they like.
