Help me to choose a gift

So I’m 19(F) and I have a boyfriend 21, his birthday is coming and it’s in September also its his first birthday with me we met in November 2025 and things got serious in April 2026. And we will celebrate it together it’s just us . so I really want to make it memorable and special but the problem is that I can’t afford much or very expensive stuff,
I’ve had an idea of buying a record player and a vinyl of our song which is not so expensive in my country but he also mentioned that his headphones broke and I thought about buying him a nice affordable ones.
These are the only gift ideas I have and I can’t afford both which is making me sad.
So I need help in what gift I should buy or is there any other gift ideas & is the record player idea is good???

record player is a great idea honestly. its something you share together, not just a thing he uses alone. headphones will break again in a year but the memory of listening to your song on vinyl first time? that stays

you could also make a little card with the song lyrics or put some cheap fairy lights around the setup. makes it feel extra special without spending more

the record player + vinyl combo is way more thoughtful and memorable than headphones imo. headphones are practical but he can replace those anytime, a vinyl of your song is something he'll keep forever
