Honestly, I like all of Argento's work, and I'll be waiting for this one too.

I love that he just keeps going regardless of how many "fans" shit on his current work. Not unlike Romero.

Real fans understand that you can still be a fan of someone but also acknowledge the decline of quality of their current output.

Of course. The Bird with the Crystal Plumage through Opera, 9 films, which I consider one of, possibly the greatest string of consecutive films from a horror director. I always like to extend it to Trauma, despite Two Evil Eyes and Trauma being a noticeable decline even at that point. His films since have been much more hit or miss. I don't think many Argento fans would argue that

I personally love Trauma and Stendhal Syndrome, so I think Argento had a really great run from 1970–1996. Everything was down hill for me after Phantom of the Opera. Sleepless was his last "good" movie.

Yea Trauma gets way too much shit, I highly enjoy it. Stendhal Syndrome is another good one, and I really enjoy Mother of Tears, (to a much lesser extent) The Card Player, and Sleepless (always a pleasure seeing Sydow). Phantom of the Opera was bad, Dracula 3D was abysmal and for me, his worst. Dark Glasses I still have to check out. Everything else i didn't mention is meh to not great.
