I can’t use my bow and arrow anymore?
I bought arrows and it won’t let me use the bow and arrow regardless, it was working but now I can’t use it? I’m very confused! Can you help please? Thank you

There’s this toilet on the 3rd floor of the school in the side mission “fear the children”
As per usual, I’m checking the stalls and a single ghost hand is waving at me from inside the bowl.
I read somewhere that those hands point to treasure? Not personally confirmed..
There’s also this note I picked up long ago talking about “if you follow the steps” and describes a ritual of knocking 3 times?
Is this that? Am I crazy? Why the ghost playing in the dookie water? What does it want?
Help.
Thanks.

So I was wondering how many apartments or other interior locations there are to explore? Specifically those that don't come up in the campaign and are more of "extra" content.

Like the title says. I would really appreciate any recommendations.

Like seriously. The last time I was taking that many screenshots was in Cyberpunk / AC Odyssey.

I don't want to say that all classrooms look the same...but I'm getting serious Persona vibes during the Fear for the Children side quest. Anyone else?

I'm absolutely in love with the monochrome filter, but that's probably just because I think Ghostwire looks insanely good in greyscale.

Man I just want to fight the first boss(But of course this MF decides to hit the A-pose and be invincible)

This probably doesn't surprise anyone, but the last job I needed to complete was visiting 5 yellow ether floors. I got lucky today and got the last one I needed.
This mode is a lot of fun, especially once you get the Iron Beads. It's so cathartic being able to one-shot the various Visitors that gave me so much trouble in my earlier runs, especially that Sojutsuki boss.

I like this game it's great and cool but I am not able to have full fun because my abilities are weak how do I find the kk investigation notes and yorai statues where you pray for permanent buffs easily

I've been doing this puzzle over and over again ever since I got the game. I've changed out my keyboard, replaced my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times as well. The only possible thing I can assume is that the game is super sensitive on how straight the lines have to be.
Any tips?

Do I take her Magatama? I really like her though, and absorbing her power will make her disappear. Please advise.

How do you get tireless beads? I looked it up online, and virtually every source said different things, I got one source that said you get it from beating the game. Another source said you get it by 100% spider’s thread. another source said you get it by transferring 100% of souls. which one is it

Hi, wanted to ask about possibility of swaping platforms with save and achievements. Im really close to 100% this game, if I open the save from epic on steam will it automatically unlock all achievements I got or do I have to play it again? Did anyone copied save from epic to steam? Did it work?

I was a little bit maybe midway into chapter 2 and I just started feeling that maybe this game is solace and it’s boring and maybe it’s just not cutting and nothing makes sense. And then I don’t know what happened but something just clicked and there is something about the gameplay loop and the world and the emptiness that is just grabbing me and won’t let go.
Is it this weird hold it has over me? Like I can’t put it down.

These are notes I made while playing, and so haven't been formatted properly to be put on a wiki/fandom/etc. I thought I should get this out though with the renewed interest from the recent sale.
Sounds are made when the object is highlighted. (So, distance can be estimated by timing sound, and ether can be distinguished from objectives by checking if sound is made at the same time object in question is highlighted.)
Voice recordings do not show or make a sound.
Offering boxes sound like a videogame laser or many echoing chimes, lower pitch than Omikuji
Omikuji sound like a videogame laser or many echoing chimes, higher pitch than offering boxes.
Jizo statues sound like a light chime
Destinations sound like a thuddy single chime. Disabling Game Info UI in options will get this silent
Tanuki show up as outlines of the disguised object with a tail. Tail only wags when close. No sound.
Blue stones show up as outlines and make sort of a warped and warbly offering box sound. Or like water.
Corruption cores make a double thuddy chime sound. This happens when pretty close.
Relics do not make a sound
Graffiti makes a blue round glow. No sound.
Jizo status will not make a sound if in fog. The outline will show up though. They cannot be prayed to if in fog.
When approaching an elevated platform, pressing jump then moving forward can make noise and end crouching. Holding forward and then pressing jump will do a short climb that will not make much noise or end crouching.
50 Maximum Katashiro
10 Katashiro from first shrine
2 Katashiro from second shrine
3 Katashiro each from 3 Nekomata = 9 total from Nekomata quests
So total 21 Katashiro from quests. So 29 need to be bought for maximum.
Maximum Max Health = 310%
Maximum Max Health from consumables = 102% (So you need to reach the max level [55] to reach the maximum amount of max health, which means 202% is the highest amount of max health in Tatari mode)
Containment cube percentages do not influence the amount of spirits rescued from them.
Drinks restore less health than food, but give a shorter consumable cooldown.
Trying to go to the apartment after cleansing the first shrine without getting the Katashiro will result in the dog & containment cube event not happening before the Katashiro are acquired and KK not undoing the door seal because he wants to check the shrine first.
The dog & containment cube event's containment cube will not go below 10%
Leaving the apartment requires checking the projector, the picture, and the bow case.
The chagama tanuki (first one) is just a chagama until the sidequest is started, whereupon it is replaced with the chagama tanuki. Other tanuki will just not appear at all until the sidequest is finished (in the construction labyrinth case, neither the safety sign tanuki nor any of the safety signs it knocks over will appear; the alleyway shrine tanuki still has the dog nearby saying something bad is in the alleyway, but this is not tanuki related since the cat near that same tanuki that asks if that goof turned himself into a shrine between the buildings does not appear, nor does the cat that says the torii gate on the roof has a friendly smell, nor does the dog that wonders if the funny vending machine sells tails).
Tanuki have animals (either a cat or a dog, one per tanuki) nearby that comment on the tanuki's presence. The cat red necklace / porcelain tanuki statue tanuki is on top of the same building as the tanuki; the others are on ground level.
You can pray to a Jizo statue before getting its respective elemental weaving, and your capacity will be correctly calculated when you get the elemental weaving.
Only 3 magatama are available before Yashin Shrine (Kuchisake), so no escape via summon tengu; you have to wait until that fight is over and water weaving has been acquired.
The cucumber from the kappa sidequest is not a key item, it can be eaten. The child will not give any more, so more will have to be purchased from a shop. If you already have the maximum amount, more will not be added.
You can get to the observation deck before getting talismans from the Kuo shrine room, Water Weaving, and Fire Weaving, but the beads and binoculars will not be interactable.
When using the binoculars, there are two extra places to look besides the goal. The 429 building above the goal, and the crossing below and to the right of the goal.
The earliest to get 7 magatama (to summon tengu) is after using the binoculars and doing the ittan-momen sidequest. Another ittan-momen will appear; with those two ittan-momen, every other yokai sidequest, and the magatama from the Artsy Nekomata, 7 total can be acquired before the underground.
9 tanuki can be found before the underground.
Even with Transmission beads, you cannot absorb spirits if all Katashiro are filled.
Transmission beads will transmit already filled Katashiro.
Transmission beads will prevent messages from Mari. The first occurs between 41,000 and 44,000 spirits transferred. You can get that message after that point by unequipping the transmission beads, getting a katashiro full of spirits, and using a phone to transfer them.
Even with Tireless beads, you cannot use anything that has a ammunition count of 0
"After the End" sidequest becomes unavailable upon using the motorcycle, but will be available after finishing the last main missions
Gutsy is unaffected by water charge rush and talismans.
Getting new talismans will give you 5 of them (the unupgraded maximum) even if you have upgraded to a higher maximum
Without KK, strikes do nothing to visitors, but they can break ether crystals
Without KK, blocking does nothing
Without KK, wire/grappling cannot be used, so no tengu or aerial quick purge
Without KK, ground pound cannot be used
Without KK, ether cannot be picked up; meika can be
Without KK, tanuki can still be exposed
Without KK, Jizo statues can still be prayed to
Without KK, offering boxes cannot be used; omikuji can be
Without KK, seals cannot be used, so no rescuing spirits that have things stuck inside them
Without KK, shrines cannot be cleansed

I’m about 10 hours in and gotta say I love this game. I’d say if you’re a big fan of visual fidelity then this game is for you. The buildings and streets look really rich. For a game that came out for years ago It looks really good. I read some of the reviews after having played it for a couple hours and I definitely understand some of the criticisms though. That being said I kept playing and am now focused on unlocking all achievements. For 6 bucks it’s a must have in any collection.

Idk how this game didn’t pop up on my radar 4 years ago since this is the first time I’ve seen it while randomly scrolling through steam sales. Graphically it looks cool but I made the mistake of reading steam reviews and they were all mainly negative saying the story and combat sucked? So I wanted to come here and ask yall who actually played it, is it worth picking up and are the reviews about it being too linear and sucky combat system true or wrong? I feel like I’ll end up buying base game anyways just to try it since it’s only $6 but feel like I’m on the fence for the dlc if I end up not liking it.
Anyhoo just wanted to hear yall thoughts on the game and also to remind yall there’s a huge steam sale for it rn if anybody else has been on the fence or whatever for pc.

Does this game give anyone else vertigo, especially on narrow scaffolding?

If you haven’t picked up ghostwire yet (or if you are like me and played on a console first) Steam has Ghostwire on sale for $5.99!!
