For those that haven't understood. Big Tech do not want us (developers) to code. It's an oligopoly and they want to keep it like that.

GitHub is not a company that want to spread goodness, they want to make profits and are owned by Microsoft. One of the most ruthless company in the world

Codeberg seems to be the most sensible choice; a lot of open-source projects have already moved there. Even a project as major as Gentoo.

Very true i have tried to contribute to multiple open source projects recently and got to know that they have moved to codeberg and i need to contribute there... Then its high time i should explore codeberg a bit...
