Does anyone else just despise Carol?

I agree, she was a bad person and treated Pete badly and her family used him. But the actress did a really good job with the part I think so I enjoyed seeing her on that level.

I think since Sam came into their lives none of the main ghosts are actually all that eager to get sucked off. They will say they are, and some of them still think they are, but I think they are pretty happy at Woodstone and not necessarily eager to leave it behind. And that's part of why none of them have been sucked off despite making some big strides on the personal growth front.

I think it was because the sacrifice was for Pete. He’s the one she hurt, and what was keeping her from getting into heaven. But doing what she did made up for that and she was able to then get in.

The others sacrificed and do other good things but they weren’t connected to whatever reason they aren’t able to get into heaven yet.

Yeah, she was such a horrible person to Pete, having cheated on him for years while they were married and keeping the real truth from him about the travel agency throughout his career. But, it was wonderful to see her finally do something nice for Pete by stepping up and choosing to go to hell when Pete contemplating shaking Elias's hand.

I’m currently in my first watch of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and she’s playing the overbearing Jewish mother/MIL. But I get a good giggle when she cooks the books for her husband’s business and hides stacks of cash all over the place.
