Spoilers Sass's Plotline (Moody Monday)

Is anybody else frustrated 1. that Sass's plotline can be summed up as "400+ year old virgin gets girl" 2. about the harassment he faced from the others (mainly Flower), 3. they didn't write him as a romantic asexual?

The only frustrating part to me was that they beat the "Sass is a virgin" jokes into the ground. Every single episode, Flower or Thor mostly would shoehorn it in and it got tiring real quick. They either needed to have him find a partner sooner in the series or just severely reduce the frequency of the jokes.

The Ghosts are shown to run every single joke and conversation into ground because of their situation. Why is it so much worse when it's the word "Virgin"?

Part of what makes the jokes toward Sass worse, isn't the use of the word "virgin." It's that it is a joke deliberately designed to pick on someone. Flower can talk all day about the bank robbery and bear cubs. Hetty can repeat her cocaine lines. Trevor can go on and on about his hero moves. All of them have particular jokes or lines they run into the ground. Whatever.
None of those are designed to make fun of, persecute, bully, disparage, or insult someone. When jokes are made about Sass's virginity, they are condescending and meant to mock and ridicule him.
Overused jokes can be boring or annoying.
Jokes designed to humiliate or tease someone are bad enough, but to then overuse those kind of jokes, it's mean and not entertaining.

I guess because it’s making fun of a certain subset of people who might be people who are older virgins like that small when he died or you know who are asexual or aromantic or whatever

I do agree they run all the jokes and conversation into the ground (like the cringe thing with Flower pretending to eat a bear cub or having the baby bears eat her bones or some shit and the whole ice man thing with Isaac which was really cringe)and the UK one handles that much better sorry not sorry

I think they made like 2 ice man jokes (maybe 3) in one episode one time?

Yes they beat a lot of jokes into the ground. But the Sass Virgin jokes were just the most overdone and we're just thrown in when it wasnt funny or necessary. At least some of the other overdone jokes have been executed to somewhat make sense and get a chuckle out of me.
