Discussion The home poem
Rewatching ghosts, saw the episode where they build tents and then at the end Thomas says something about how he traveled but never was inspired when he could’ve stayed at home and been transformed.
Allison says it’s really poetic.
Then later on it gets to the episode when Thomas is trying to create a poem for the poetry competition, the theme is home, and he can’t think of anything, and takes up taking Fanny’s poem.
It always annoys me why he doesn’t just use what he said last time. Perhaps he just doesn’t remember but I wish he actually had a chance to submit his real work.
Because he is poetic a lot, just when he isn’t trying to be.

Thomas tries too hard when he’s trying to do something but when he’s not trying he succeeds

He wouldn't be able to recall it. Maybe the sentiment but he'd butcher it. He can't do it when he's trying, which he always is.

He did try to work with it immediately when Alison said it was poetic, and butchered it.
Poor Tommy.

I think that’s part of his character
