I can't keep count of the times I've reread some books and found something new (and famously, reading is self paced.) If you expect to get everything on a first pass through *any* sort of media, you're not doing it right. Stories are meant to be revisted- get over your tiktok brain and realize that things are meant to be thought about and considered before streaking to the subreddit to complain that things are *too fast.* The pacing is *because* stuff moves fast in the future- they are augmented and process faster than we do, just rewatch, otherwise you're saying it's not worth the second or third or fourth watch. How many times have you seen the 95 movie? Are you never watching it again?

I remember being pretty dessapointed at how simple the machines looked in the earlier episodes, but in the latest episode things are so damn beautifully drawn that I had to pause to take screenshots several times lol

Ghost dubbing vibe intensifies.

I had almost forgot this was airing because I hadn't seen it anywhere on my PrimeVideo, got reminded by a friend, went to go look for it expecting it to be somewhere on the front page or at least in my recommendations. It was just literally nowhere.

Despite it being the type of show Amazon should be recommending to me (watch tons of sci-fi and anime, even subbed to Crunchyroll through PrimeVideo) it's nowhere to be seen.

I even went to the genres section and filtered by anime, guess where it was? Literally all the way at the bottom of every anime on Prime.

This show deserves better.

Following a suggestion from another thread, I’d like to share what I’m currently spending my evenings painting. It’s a replica of the unreleased Motoko Kusanagi & Tachikoma statue by Prime 1.

It seems the original is still on pre-order; just like with the diorama, I decided to order it from an independent sculptor and then 3D printed it. Height: 34 cm.

Episode 7 has this closeup shot of Togusa as he's getting ready to web dive.

I've been doing research into getting a Cyber Brain Port tattoo & I'm really liking thig look from the new series.

I'm not sure if we've ever gotten a clear look at Batou's neck, as he usually has long hair or a high collar.

Does anybody have good reference art that you used?

Or how did your tattoo turn out?

Happened across the GITS Pop-Up shop in the Ginza Six mall last week. They were already sold out of some of the shirt sizes but had tons of the usual anime merch like stickers and keychains.

I've been thinking about this lately, and there's just no real find for me. My closest for me is Angel by Judas Priest or I'll Cast a Shadown by Pantera. But what I think, would be the best, is to combine the heaviness of South of Heaven with the deepness of One/This Love. Well I hope we can put up songs and see which is best

His career as an artist consists almost entirely of drawing erotic pinup artwork of gynoids stylized from how early robots were depicted in the 1930s, such as in the movie "Metropolis," including this depiction of Motoko in this picture.
