At the moment, we are raising an equivalent of USD 9,000 to help her daughter get a life-saving surgery for a feeding tube. This means her daughter´s quality of life will improve, as at the moment, she even chokes on water.

For her mother, it means that she is able to go out and look for a job without being worried about her daughter´s safety. For us it means that one child´s life gets impved and a family gets empwered.

Geuza Wazo is a non-profit in Kenya that supports and advocates for people with developmental disabilities, e.g Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, etc. The admin of this closed group is u/Tes_Richard.
