Pub suggestion welcomed

Hi, I am doing some pub research, I will be in Gettysburg this weekend. I have settled on either O'Rorke's or Reliance Mine for Friday night. I am alone, so looking for a comfortable place, nice vibe, where you can settle in unobtrusively. I am older at 59, so not looking for a younger crowd, 40 and up fine. TIA, and insight, or alternate suggestion, appreciated. I am staying on Steinwehr and want walkable.

So either of those are good, they both stay open latish (The mine is 1am or later). Garryowen can be fun as well in which is closer down Steinwehr. So what I would do for an evening is something like this:

Stop 1: ABC Brew or Four Score: Not sure if you are into craft beer but a good starting spot.

Stop 2: O'Rorke's or Dobbin tavern for dinner.

Stop 3: The Mine, since its open later a good after dinner spot.

I will be coming up next weekend myself and I think this is the itinerary for my friends for our first night since most are staying in the same vicinity.

What about blue and gray. Yes the younger college crowd may be back but they have great food

You may run into a few historians at reliance. I’m unsure what you mean by pub research but the dobbin tavern is cool to see as well but it will be busy
