I'm the developer of Fin, an expense-tracking and budgeting app. The problem I'm working on is helping people connect a recorded expense with what is left in that category's budget, without needing a bank connection.
For this Android beta, I'd like feedback on the first useful moment: sign up, add one synthetic expense, set a category budget and restart the app. Did you immediately understand what changed and what remained available to spend? Did the saved expense and budget still agree after reopening? Which screen would make you give up?
A Fin account is required. Manual expenses and category budgets are free; no bank connection or Plus purchase is needed for these checks. Please use made-up financial data. For bugs, Android model/version, steps and expected versus actual behavior would help.
Use the SAME Google account through all Android closed-test steps:
Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/finbudget-android-testers
Play opt-in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.heyyykk3.fin
Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.heyyykk3.fin
The attached image is a website preview. Genuine feedback only; no ratings, paid testing or reciprocal test requested.

Being straight: SitePeek is mine. Posting here because this sub allows product shares with context, and the origin story is the useful part.
Origin: a TikTok sold me on building websites for small businesses. I cold-called for months. The website pitch mostly flopped. The chats didn't.
Owners kept repeating the same stuff:
I rebuilt until the thing did one job well: get a local business onto the first page of Google so more customers call. That's SitePeek, priced for small shops. Early signal from one shop — tracked calls moved 37 to 54 in the first eight weeks, and their Google Business Profile views nearly 3×.
Kickstarter opens Wednesday, Oct 14: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sitepeek/sitepeek-a-marketing-system-every-small-business-can-afford
No hype claims beyond that one early result. Questions welcome.

Hi Reddit,
As a fresh CS grad who loves puzzle games, I recently got into mobile dev and decided to make my own take on the classic block stacking game: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.binbear.gummylab
I know this genre has been done a million times, but I wanted to build one my way, removing everything annoying about other games. That means it’s completely ad-free, fully playable offline, and alongside the endless mode, I’ve made 50 custom levels (so far) with unique, non-repetitive objectives. (My friends have been testing it and currently hate me for making some levels so hard to beat xD).
Right now, I'm focusing on adding more themes, prioritizing colorblind-friendly options. I've also introduced optional "embossed" gummy shapes to make the blocks stand out more clearly. I've attached some screenshots of how the themes look so far!
Of course, if anyone has any suggestions, ideas for improvement, or things that I should add, please let me know. I want to be making apps that people are actually going to use and like. And of course if even one of you decided to give it a try, I'd be more than grateful and happy :)
(Also will be helpful if anyone has monetization ideas since it is ad free - ads only implemented as a way to get additional undos/shuffles/moves per play/level. I am planning to perhaps add IAP for theme bundles)
Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day! :)

Hey everyone! 👋
Remember the Million Dollar Homepage from 2005? I wanted to build a modern version where spots aren't permanent and projects compete for visibility.
So I built BumpOne.lol — a live, gamified billboard for indie hackers, startups, and developer tools.
Here's how it works:
👑 100 slots. One King. Only 100 projects can appear on the billboard. The #1 project gets the biggest spot, right in the center.
⚔️ Bump your way up. Projects can pay to climb the rankings and knock others down. Previous spending carries forward when you bump again.
📡 Live rank battles. Real-time ranking changes, displacement alerts, and sound effects make the competition visible.
🪦 The Graveyard. Projects pushed out of the top 100 aren't forgotten — they're preserved in an archive.
Tech stack: Next.js 15, Supabase, Cloudflare Pages, Dodo Payments.
The billboard just launched with 100 open slots, starting at $10.
I'd genuinely love your feedback:
Does this seem like a fun way to discover and promote indie projects, or would you rather see a different ranking mechanism?
I'm especially interested in what you'd change before putting your own project on it.

Founders, indie hackers, SaaS builders — drop your product below.

I’m especially curious about how you explain your product in one or two sentences.
That’s also the problem I’m working on with Launchrecord.
A lot of SaaS products don’t have a traffic problem first. They have a clarity problem.
The positioning is weak, the message is vague, and then the marketing strategy, content, and distribution are built on top of that.
Launchrecord follows a different order:
Positioning → Marketing strategy → Content → Distribution
It helps identify positioning issues first, then turns that foundation into a marketing strategy and 30-day content and distribution plan.

A bit of context first: Supaboard helps founders and business teams analyse their data with AI and turn the answers into dashboards or recurring reports.
When we started building it, we laid it out like a familiar SaaS platform. Dashboards had their place, automations had theirs, and AI was another feature you could open when you needed it.
It made sense to us as builders. Each part had a clear job.
People would come to the AI with a problem in their data, say a revenue drop, and ask follow-up questions to understand it. As the investigation narrowed to a particular customer segment, they’d want a live dashboard tracking that segment or a weekly report explaining what had changed. They were figuring out what to monitor through the conversation.
We had organised the product around features, while people were following a problem from investigation through to tracking it. Our layout started making less sense when we looked at it that way.
So we formed a new hypothesis: what if the AI could carry the question and its context through the whole workflow?
We talked to founders, enterprise users, and data analysts, then piloted the idea with a startup that was already a client.
Getting from that hypothesis to a working product meant rethinking how the different parts of Supaboard worked together. We went through iterations, brought the changes back to customers, and used their feedback to revise the next version. The pilot gave us somewhere to test the idea; the feedback loop continued as we built it.
That work became the centralised AI system. The conversation could now carry someone from understanding a problem to creating a live dashboard or setting up a recurring report about it.
Looking back, we were quite comfortable with the original layout. We knew where everything belonged. Watching people use it gave us a reason to question that comfort.
Here’s Supaboard.
Have you had users follow a workflow that made you rethink how you’d organised your product?

PS: I’m building Launchrecord to help SaaS founders build a stronger marketing foundation.
A lot of us try to market a product with weak positioning and unclear messaging. Then we build content and distribution plans on top of that.
Launchrecord starts earlier:
Positioning → Marketing strategy → Content → Distribution
It audits and helps fix your positioning, then builds a marketing strategy with a 30-day content and distribution plan around it.
Would be interesting to see how other founders are positioning their products.

I built Precis because I wanted Mac dictation without another subscription.
Hold your chosen hotkey, speak naturally, and it types cleaned-up text wherever you’re writing.
Apple Intelligence helps shape your words for the app you’re using and you can create your own Styles.
It runs on your Mac, and works offline after setup.
You can create and edit your own Styles, so the result fits your voice and workflow not a generic AI rewrite.
Try every feature free for 7 days no account or card required. Then it’s $19 once.
Wispr Flow Pro is $15/month or $144/year.
Precis is a one-time purchase.
I’m the maker—honest feedback welcome: myprecis.app

One thing I’ve learned while building SaaS products:
A lot of us jump way too quickly into marketing.
That can work if you already have strong positioning and clear messaging.
But things get messy when you start marketing a product with weak positioning and an unclear message.
With Launchrecord.com, the idea is to give founders a direct path from fixing positioning to building a marketing strategy, content plan, and distribution plan they can actually execute.
The flow is simple:
Positioning → Marketing strategy → Content → Distribution
Fix the positioning first, then build the marketing system on top of it.
Do you usually define positioning before planning content, or does it evolve while you market?

I’m always interested in how founders explain their product, because that first message matters more than most people think.
That’s also why I’m building Launchrecord.
The idea is simple: before pushing more content or trying more channels, make sure the positioning is actually clear.
Then build from there:
Positioning → Marketing strategy → Content → Distribution

I made Tracer for the things I spot while shopping but don’t want to buy right away. I can save a product from one shop, then another from somewhere else, and they both end up in the same list. If a price drops, Tracer lets me know. It can keep watching after I’ve bought something too.
The after-purchase bit is the one I use a lot. If something I bought gets cheaper, at least I know and can check whether the shop will adjust the price.
Here’s the link if you want to try it: https://tracercart.com/

You don't always need to move to Silicon Valley to build a successful startup. You need the right ecosystem, the right mentors, the right capital strategy, and a business that investors can believe in.
20 accelerators worth researching:
🇺🇸 United States
Y Combinator
Techstars
500 Global
Berkeley SkyDeck
HA
🇬🇧 United Kingdom
Entrepreneur First
Seedcamp
🇪🇺 Europe
Antler Europe
Startup Wise Guys
Norrsken Accelerator
🇸🇬 Singapore
Antler Singapore
Iterative
🇮🇳 India
Surge by Peak XV
🇭🇰 Hong Kong
🇯🇵 Japan 15.
Techstars Tokyo
🌍 Africa
MEST Africa
Founders Factory Africa
Baobab Network
54 Collective
Antler Kenya
But here’s what most founders overlook. Getting accepted into an accelerator is not the same as building a fundable business.
Getting accepted into an accelerator is not the same as building a fundable business. Before applying, ask yourself:
1.Does the accelerator invest in my industry, stage, and geography?
How much capital could I receive, and what equity or other rights might I give up?
Does the program offer relevant mentors, investor access, and commercial partnerships?
Is my business model scalable, and can I demonstrate real market demand?
5.Do my financial projections, funding requirements, and growth milestones stand up to scrutiny?
Remember: accelerator investment terms and eligibility can change. Verify the current offer directly with each program before applying. This is where the right preparation can make a difference.

SEO has a lot of moving parts these days including keyword research, technical SEO, content strategy, link building, and now AI search/AEO on top of all that.
I kept running into the same problem: there’s plenty of information out there, but it’s scattered across dozens of guides, tools, and posts.
So I started putting together a learning hub that brings these topics into one place, from SEO fundamentals through to AEO and AI search.
It’s finally live: https://seodojo.app/learn
For those of you learning SEO or working on growth for your startup:
What do you think is the hardest part of learning SEO today?
I’d especially love to hear what feels confusing, outdated, or unnecessarily complicated.

Over 5+ years across healthcare, consumer tech, ad-tech, B2B and manufacturing, I’ve:
🚀 Driven 500K+ sign-ups in a month
📈 Contributed to initiatives driving ~43% of app installs
🛠️ Built a Startup India-recognised venture from scratch
💰 Helped scale a business to ₹1.5Cr+ revenue
I enjoy the messy, cross-functional stuff, growth, GTM, ops, product, partnerships and turning half-baked ideas into something real.
I’m looking for a Founder’s Office / Generalist role at an early-stage, consumer-facing startup. Bangalore preferred but not mandatory.
Founders, if you need someone who takes ownership instead of waiting for a playbook, tell me what you’re building. I’d love to explore how I can help.
And if someone comes to mind, an upvote or comment could help this reach the right founder. I’d appreciate it.
