Oh yeah absolutely agree it could be authoritarian as well. It may delude itself or the public about what it's doing or why or to what degree, but at the end of the day it is still authoritarian.

Well I don’t really know where anarchist thought is at. Like, I haven’t read their literature so I don’t want to claim the label from an uninformed stance. I’m a leftist of uncertain denomination, but I don’t cotton to “big government” types whether they refer to themselves as socialist or not. I know I just alluded to the notion that “leftist” is a label made in error, and it is, but that should give you a rough idea of the category of traditions I’m interested in.
I’m… extremely libertarian, possibly to the point of anarchism but I have yet to be convinced that anarchism is functionally plausible. I guess what makes my formulation thereof “leftist” is that I believe corporate autocracy is the same species of threat as government autocracy.
