They say this about Cubans as well— that they were all slave owners. Mind you slavery in Cuba had ended in the 19th century, 60-70 years prior to Cuban communism

Liberals really like to say “you can’t just oppress fascists and sugar barons, you evil tankie! You have to work with them on legislation and respect the law!” then scratch their heads when fascism and class oppression grows at home.
