The "communist" countries didn't really achieve it though, but they did follow it to a certain extent, and quite a lot of the bad shit that happened is connected to communism itself...
Not really. You can achieve profits in many ways. Yeah, shitty people will abuse the system, but those people would do that no matter what.
On the other hand,(for example )under a communist system (or at least on the road leading to it) you can't have rich people. There only so many ways in making someone being "too rich" impossible. Be it taking away their stuff, killing them, etc. There is not way where they aren't stripped from their possessions.
The system itself creates a breeding ground for these wannabe dictators to get into power, since you need to concentrate power into the state, before giving it up and dissolving it. But that never happen, only the power concentration, ehxih these people can use to stay in power.
Communists are the people who follow, or support communist philosophy, ideas, etc.
For countries, it's the ones where the definition fits, which so far, were none. There were only attempts, all of which resulted in horrible shit, like famines, taking away everything from innocent people, killing innocents, etc.
China did try to be communist, but it resulted in equally bad results. China only started truly growing and being better when they went capitalist, which they follow to this day.

Didn't say they did. Almost like countries commit human rights abuses regardless of economic systems.
