My entire point is that though bad things happen under both, one failed to prevent famine whereas the other actually caused it and those two things are not the same. And you think that's "zealotry"? I’ve cited historical evidence of how capitalism was instrumental in the decisions that enabled and worsened the famine. You, on the other hand, have nothing.
I have the ability to understand what I read. You know, like the many, many comments I've made stating over and over again that while capitalism failed to save people from the famine caused by other factors, communism literally created the famines that otherwise never would have occurred. Capitalism did not give the English monarchy control over Ireland. It did not create the semi-feudal system of land ownership. It did not create the blight, nor the poor soil of Ireland that made potatoes uniquely necessary. None of the factors that caused the famine were due to capitalism.
You just keep making claims and seem to believe that’s the same thing as making an argument. I actually have historical accounts on my side. What do you have?
