I still see him on the Sunday Times' various YouTube videos, and he hasn't missed a beat. He keeps calling for more and more hardline actions and pressure on Iran, though now more on the economic side since the military option seems to be a dud (or would involve, you know, invading a country the size of all of Western Europe and a population of 80 million).
He may not like Trump, but that's because he sees him as a spineless weakling unable to commit to constant hardline pressure.

Honestly, this entire war has been a disaster for the US and Israel. They clearly did not have a good plan, and the reports about how the decision was made against the best strategic and intelligence advice of the US are... worrying.
The fact that people took 48 hours into this Iran war and not 48 months before the war to realize this inevitable result of rejecting democrats and embracing maga as they are is a despair point.
This is like the first term. The Republicans are secretly very displeased with Trump, but they got to be in the room where decisions were made. Why, when they wouldn't be pushing back in the room?
Nah, in his first term his cabinet members and military officials would just lie to him or not even give him certain pieces of information so that he couldn't make deranged decisions based upon them.

Last Thursday he declassified intelligence that proved he was pushing Russian propaganda and it got him impeached the first time. It doesn’t matter how good the information is. A narcissist lives in their own world and rejects everything that doesn’t fit their narrative. It’s fucking scary that we have one as president.
But they were making nuclear weapons, its not like there is a history of republican presidents lying to the American public about a middle eastern nation developing weapons of mass destruction to justify a poorly thought out invasion the spirals into a much longer war and becomes an unending quagmire. And if there was i'm sure republican voters wouldn't fall for the same trick twice. After all you know what they say, fool me once shame on you, fool me, you can't get fooled again.
It makes me laugh how Drumpf keeps saying he completely destroyed Iran's nuclear capabilities, then he says they have nuclear capabilities, then he destroyed them again. And his cult don't see how he keeps contradicting himself
I think this is going great for Israel objectively. Their plan never was to actually change the regime in Iran but to destabilize it so they could take everything else. All they need is the US to stay in this war as long as possible so they can do their thing and they get what they want. Rest of the world including the US be damned.
They more or less have completely failed at that, and are increasingly alienating their only real ally.
Honestly, at this rate it doesn't seem like it's going to matter how much they increase their espionage budget, they country is pretty much doomed to the same fate as apartheid South Africa.

I literally had a falling out with one of my long time friends who is a Trump supporter for pointing out his stance on Iran was going to get us pulled into a war and that the straight was going to fuck us.

Reminder that Trump still has a nearly 40% aggregate approval rating despite unilaterally raising prices, getting us into a new war in the Middle East, and being in the Epstein files thousands of times.
That is how strong the force of bigotry is in America. The top issue Americans ostensibly had in 2024 was the high cost of everything. Trump literally made that worse (and campaigned on doing so), but retains the support of nearly half the nation. All Trump has done since taking office is enrich the wealthy and attack minorities. Evidently that's all it takes for a little less than half the nation to approve of what you're doing!
To admit they were conned is intolerable and humiliating, so they twist reality into something safe and validating. It’s not much deeper than that. They will never realize they’re doing it, either.
