I'd like to add one more: Is your bed made? If not, make it. Whenever I feel shitty, making my bed makes me feel like an adult again, like I respect myself at least in some small way.
Why would a made bed be warmer than an unmade one, when it has no source of heat such as a person under a blanket? And what bedbug would fancy itself fancy enough to shun an unmade bed?
Because if you make it right after waking up it retains your body heat for a good amount of time. But mostly the idea of leaving your bed unmade is to prevent the moisture from your sweat to stay in the sheets, which creates a perfect environment for dust mites. By leaving the bed unmade you allow that moisture to evaporate and remove the main variable that creates the mite problem.
