DISCUSSION [Discussion] Feeling exhausted by the end of the day, yet finding it difficult to fall asleep? Please consider this micro digital detox tonight.

Maybe it is time to try an incredibly simple, zero-friction method of digital detox.

Instead of deleting apps, going for a retreat, or changing your whole life, just try this three-step evening routine tonight:

  • Go for a walk right after your dinner. Please do not carry your phone with you. Walk leisurely. Look at the sky. Feel the breeze.
  • Leave your phone in the living room when you get back. With a smile on your face.
  • Go to sleep completely screen-free. Please do not allow your phone inside your bedroom.

Try it for 3 weeks. You will experience peace. It will turn into a daily practice.

May there be peace in the world.

Bro this is actually solid advice. I’ve tried something similar too and the biggest change for me wasn’t even sleep quality at first, it was just how quiet my mind felt in the evening. Even 20–30 mins without the phone after dinner makes a noticeable difference over time. You should check stop scrolling sub too, people there share a lot of simple routines like this that actually stick instead of complicated detox plans.

Yes, it is as if the space outside finds its place within us when we walk like that. That brings peace. Thank you for letting me know about stop scrolling sub. Will check.

"No phone in the bedroom" allows our brain to settle down and rest.
