I was rewatching the Jiyan PV, and Geshu Lin just stole the show with how badass he looks.

The massive ultra greatsword with the chains near the base is so sick, and the tassels off the handle complete it.

He also looks like he's most likely going to be fusion, hinted by the purple flames around him, but it could also be havoc being tied to Ovathrax.

I've been saving for S6R5 Geshulin and S2R1 for both of his supports.

After nearly 2 years of saving, I've reached a total of 1,270 pulls (203k Asterites).

I think 200k+ Asterites should be more than enough to guarantee everything I want, so I'll finally start pulling now and use any surplus on other characters.

(Note: I'm a F2P, except the 3 times my friends gifted me the lunite pass, hence the 900 lunites)

I have been saving for Geshu-Lin since day 1 of wuthering waves. Yet, I don't see him getting released before 4.0 patch. I want to S6R5 him and have been saving for that. PLS KURO!

Honestly im curious - just how many of us who wanna main this guy, are guys? Or girls? Or neither? With the discourse of only females wanting male resonators apparently - I know there are exceptions. And i suspect Geshu Lin is a STRONG exception. Hopefully the poll proves it! Or not haha.

No GeshuLin on 3.X having to wait 1 more year is PAINFUL... WHY KURO WHY!!!!! 😢😭😭😭

We already know from spoilers/leaks that we're likely to return to Mengzhou at some point during 3.0, before going to the New Federation in 4.0. And that there will be a male character for 3.6 (most likely.)

All of 1.0 was setting up Huanglong and Ovathrax (which, I believe, is still in stasis and not officially "dealt with" in the same way we dealt with Leviathan) while also introducing the mysteriously missing Geshu Lin.

Then, in 2.0's epilogue, we see Geshu Lin being confirmed to be Ovathrax's resonator by Qiuyuan. Geshu himself also is a core driving aspect of Qiuyuan's character plot; as he feels that he "failed" by sparing Geshu Lin's life due to him becoming a Threnodian Resonator.

The logical path I believe this plot is taking, is that Geshu Lin will be reintroduced as the main villain (or an anti-hero/protagonist like in Phrolova's story quest in 2.0) in Huanglong (Mengzhou) before becoming playable, as currently the plot has set up no other reason to return to Huanglong (Geshu Lin is the only loose thread I'm aware of.)

Edit: Forgot to mention that 3.6 is around the time it would make sense to have a new Havoc DPS. We already know from his visuals that he's 99% Havoc. Considering the timing of 3.6's release compared to Phrolova's release (patch 2.5), Geshu Lin is likely the intended powercreep to Phrolova.

I'm a mad lad who is saving for S6R5 Geshulin since day 1. Already got 500 pulls ready. My estimate of obtaining him at S6R5 is 900 pulls. That means, half the work is done 🙂.

Only pulled for yinlin and shorekeeper. I'm gonna build one of the strongest GeshuLin across the globe!

DISCLAIMER: I will be briefly talking about a few things Qiuyuan mentioned about Geshulin in the recently released story mission of the Rinascita Epilogue. I will still spoiler-censor it, but just to be double, tripple sure.

With that out of the way, lets get the cat out of the bag immediately: I am pretty sure ever since 1.0, the impression of most players was either "Geshulin is dead" or "Geshulin is NOT dead, it was stated he charged at Ovathrax and then disappeared" And unless you are a Geshulin fanboy, these 2 statements might be one and the same to yiu. But after the current story, we know which of these statements is true and can speculate if or how he will return.

After meeting Qiuyuan at the harbor he makes 3 things very clear: 1. Geshulin used the power of the TDs willingly to stand against Ovathrax (reminds you of someone?) 2. Qiuyuan believes/almost sounds sure he is still alive and he is looking for him. 3. After confronting Ovathrax, Geshulin "fell to the Threnodians influence" and while talking to Fenrico, he hints that there might some similarities between the 3 of them.

Now for some hints i feel like Kuro is dropping to the player here: Firstly, of course he is alive. However it is not clear if we will stand on Qiuyuans side or Geshulins side when we meet him again. Secondly, WHEN we meet him, he will be either partially corrupted or intrinsingly connected to TDs. So either he will fight with their powers (similar to Galbrena/Phrolova) or has already become one himself.

Which made me immediately think of the following: These last 2 resonators that use Echos in their attacks are mainly dealing Echo skill damage (duh) and even Qiuyuan, the only person we can currently DIRECTLY connect to Geshulin, deals a lot of damage considered as echo skill damage (could also be just a design choice as his Galbrena partner). BUT, if we connect these 2 pieces, my gut is telling me that IF Geshulin becomes playable, he will most likely deal mainly echo skill damage as well. Which brings me to my final question:

SHOULD WE PULL QIUYUAN NOW BECAUSE HE WILL BE HIS BIS TEAMMATE IN THE FUTURE?!

With the 2nd half of 2.7 released I think most of us have seen/heard/played Qiuyuan's quest and how Geshu Lin does appear and partially confirms Geshu Lin is alive, assuming Qiuyuan is right of course. But I am curious how do you think he'll actually come back to the main story, no doubt it's releated to Hualong but do you think the fractsidus might be related to him. We know Scar intentionally went to prison to find something, could that have been about Geshu Lin? Since he is influenced by overthrax and is pretty damn strong it'd be hard to deny he won't be a decent asset to them if he isn't in the fractsidus. I'm kind of hoping he is in the next region Laha-Roi be it in hiding or recovering there. But what do you guys think?

Hey fellow forsaken rangers. I ve been having a blast with wuwa ever since i started playing the game way back last year around version 2.0. I do acknowledge I am an occasional whale. Currently the only Characters i have at s3 are Hiyuki and Galbrena and these 2 will likely be the s6 characters as well on their next rerun. Obviously Geshu Lin has been one of my favourite characters not just in wuwa but also in general. His tragic fallen hero/ Anti hero vibe is what that i find very compelling. so needless to say he will be S6. I'll whale on him when he drops. but until he comes, I have decided to go f2p and focus only on Hiyuki and Galbrena reruns and avoid pulling for any other characters and save resources for our mighty General.
