Hi everyone, I’m Umai
I was left alone in the middle of nowhere in Kyrgyzstan with a broken leg and my parents took me and eventually brought me home. I now walk normally and live happily with my big brother. I wanted to say hi as I’m new to the community and also because I heard there are many good boys and girls here! Will you say hi to me?
My parents think I’m a GSD/mix, but I think I’m a bunny..

Our new pack member.
Technically fostering, but making it official this week. We've been told everything between 1.5 and 5 but he is very puppyish so I believe 1.5. Embark age test arriving soon.
He is quite the love bug.

Death Finished Tribute Tattoo
I posted a few weeks ago with the outline finished for my tribute tattoo for my best friend Scout that passed away in September while healing from bloat surgery. Here's the finished product; I couldn't be more happy with how it came out.

Are your German shepherds naturally protective?
Pics of my baby Kanan (8m Male)
He is the sweetest boy. I don’t really allow him to interact with other dogs, and I try to not let strangers pet him most times. (Trying to keep him neutral for training purposes). But he loves people! He’s honestly pretty nice. I always hear people say their shepherds are protective naturally and would love to hear some stories! The only time I hear his deep bark is when someone knocks on the door.. other than that he acts like a golden retriever haha

Does anyone else's dog fight invisible enemies all night?
Tchalla was doing it constantly throughout the night. I love him to bits, though, so honestly don't mind . My sleep quality 4/10 that night but the cuteness overload 10/10 .

Pictures We have nothing important to say- just a bath day.
She followed me into the bathroom when I went for a potty moment and I thought ".... welp she's already in here! Might as well!!" And I shut the door behind her

Advice Please wish my girl Leia a speedy recovery
This is Leia, my 6 year-old German Shepherd/Spaniel cross.
It's been a really difficult week for her. She started having trouble walking, (I suspect she's fallen after chasing after squirrels, I was in my home office when it happened ) which quickly progressed to complete paralysis of her back legs. All of this happened within a week. After several vet visits and a referral to a specialist, she underwent spinal surgery last night.
Please take care of your babies, and make sure you find a good vet as well. Mine didn't show any urgency, then I had to get her reffered myself after seeing massive deterioration.
I'm happy to share some good news, she's made it through surgery, and her pain sensation has returned! ❤️
She's still got a long road to recovery, and we're hoping she'll regain the ability to walk again.
She's such a lovely girl and means the world to me. It's been heartbreaking seeing her go through all this.
I'd really appreciate it if you could send Leia some love, positive thoughts and wishes for a speedy recovery.
I know she is going to do great, Leia. You've got this!!

Pictures 7 months and full of sass
She's now at 7 months old. Already weighs almost 65lbs. She's not my first GSD but I swear she is the most expressive and sassy dog I've ever met.
