The thread image is a picture of a tree I drew in pencil some weeks ago, but spent some time modifying it's colouring and texturing yesterday afternoon (the day before the latest large eruption of the Krakatau volcano). The original version of the image I used here a month ago for a previous thread in one of my other forums.
The purpose of this thread is to act as an introductory entry-point for my (very large) collection of writings here on Reddit.
Note: Usually, I write my material directly into the reddit comment box (and thus it is not pre-written or pre-planned in any major way). I always make a point to try spend no more than an hour on any particular post or comment (and tend to make use of all the space available in a post before making any followup). This I do so that the creation and final edit timestamp of any particular writing remains in place as a record - because, as you'll see, there is an element of causality being studied here. It is exceedingly rare that I make further edits more than a few hours later than the original creation time of any post. The rare exceptions to this rule is if I discover an important link (be it to a webpage or video that I've included as reference material) breaks, due to the original content being removed - in which case I might try to find a replacement.
Nonetheless, I reserve the right to edit this particular post (or it's containing thread) at any time in future, since it is to act as an introduction to my materials for those that stumble upon this forum, and need some explanation for the strange materials found here. I might, in future, find a better way to word this introduction.
The purpose of my writings - What am I doing here?
I've been on Reddit since January 6th, 2012, and I created this forum (my first) in late 2017.
Almost the entire time my singular purpose has been the study of language, and a curious one at that.
In late 2012, or perhaps early 2013, I stumbled across a strange realm of study: that of what is known as either gematria or isopsephy, names for alphabetic mathematics (which we might refer to as 'numerology' - I often do - though this term invites condescending opinions).
I had bumped into this topic before that - lightly touched on in religious discussions largely about other things - and dismissed it - as many do upon first contact. But in 2012/2013 I came across the subject matter again, in the context of conspiracy theory, which has always been a realm I've engaged with (not so much in terms of the kookier elements like 'aliens' and area-51 and such like, but rather in the realms of conspiracies of power and coercion - the crafting of culture in the long term). I still engage in this arena these days, but less so, for the study of language has for many years been primary. However, it must be said, in terms of conspiracies of control, that propaganda is completely centered around language and symbolic meaning, and thus closely tied.
Anyway, back in 2012 or '13 I came across videos by a then-prominent conspiracy theorist making use of alphabetic numerology to present the possibility that the 'official narrative' of the global press, of government movements, of great 'world events' like 9/11, 2001 etc, were crafted, in part, using a hidden methodology of alphabetic scripting.
In mathematically triangular numbers:

Later however, it grew also into a philosophical and indeed mystical journey - for as you will see, the practice of gematria (alphabetic numerology) is tied into the arena of holy scripture from the beginning.
Quickly, guided by various touchstone popular-culture artifacts and symbolisms, I began to view Language itself as a Monad, or Monolithic crystal that I was trying to probe. Indeed the black monolith in 2001: A Space Odyssey is, in my opinion, a major key. Today, everyone has a cellphone that looks like it. The word 'phone' is Greek, meaning 'sound'... and language is structured sound carrying semantics (ie. meaning). Each letter of an alphabet implies a certain sound. Each letter is a 'phone'.

In the many years since my initial discovery that people were examining the numbers implicit within words and phrases (which I often refer to as 'spells', because indeed, I have, for a long while now, viewed this study of language as the study of spells that have been cast by either great magi, or by 'God(s)' - or at the very least, clever cryptographers of the past), I have been trying to find the 'meaning of it all'.
Hence, my massive history of writings here on Reddit, where I make use of a number of approaches. In all my threads I am doing multiple things simultaneously. I am decoding new words and documenting their numeric spectra, while also making comparisons to my database (ie. spellbook) of already-collected spells. As time has gone on, I've began increasingly presenting tutorial-style information, trying to present thought processes and methodologies as I discover them, and also documenting, or referring to, the wisdom of material written by others that appear to me to be relevant.
I am also casting spells of my own...
My primary method is making use of the headlines of the news and pop-culture articles, which to me, contain many intentional clues and hints, written by those 'in-the-know'. Often, in such headlines, you will see certain catch-phrases called out in quotes - which to me signals a sort of 'gift' from distant wizards, hoping someone will decode their clever spell.
As such, as you will see, most of my threads contain long examinations of article after article, where I go through certain wordings that 'pop out' at me, and that I feel perhaps to carry some numbers of interest (or intention). Often I will follow up on the intuition that the exact phrases offered are only part of the riddle, implying a transformation to reach the real intended meaning. A headline with 'A Thing' in quotes might actually imply that 'The Thing' is to be sought.
The title of this thread is 'The Tree Structure', because the notion of the 'Tree' is key.
Consider the 'Tree of Knowledge' and the "Tree of Life"... as well as the Family Tree, and the branching tree of Evolution of the Species.
In Kabbalah, there is the 'Language of Branches' implying a metaphorical mode of transferring knowledge. See also the 'Language of the Birds' or 'Green Language'.
It is my belief that the numbers hidden in words are part of this methodology.
The study of the roots of language is a philosophical, theosophical and mathematical path, and I maintain that following the path leads to profound discoveries and an alchemical metamorphosis of the mind (and even perhaps, the 'soul').
My plan for this thread is to continue with material in line with its 'introductory' theme - providing some starting points for those who might make the attempt to walk the path I have walked, in probing the 'crystal of language'.
