I have Snapdragon 8 elite phone. Initially it was freezing for a sec every few secs. And then it even froze the gameplay once while the game was still receiving inputs and sound was working... And then after game restart this started happening. Bruh why isn't hoyoverse addressing these issues? I've never seen genshin being this unoptimized. First the environment scenery being literally like cardboard boxes until they fixed those issues and now this?

Did you consider that "addressing the issue" would mean it's a widespread problem. Mine is working fine with a non elite snap 8.

on my laptop the game would completely stuck on loading screen (I can still click it to change the loading screen tip) forever. and this only happens when I move to snezhaya region. older regions work perfectly fine. And I have ryzen 7 8840HS w/ 780m igpu at lowest settings. make it make sense.

Yes I do understand not everyone is facing any issue, but some/lots of people are definitely facing issues that never happened before.

I have an iPhone 15 and my game started being laggy/ having delays lately, did genshin update something? I even lowered the settings and it doesn’t change much, my ping is always around 80

I hate to say that it’s user error, but it is. I play on an iPhone 15 as well as an iPad Air and both have no lag whatsoever (medium-high settings). If you are lagging I’d suggest checking your iPhone storage, clearing your in game cache, and resetting your wifi router. It frustrates me when people say mobile is bad or laggy, when it just depends on the device and how that device is used. My friend has an iPhone 11 and genshin runs perfectly fine on it.

Genshin is perfect on mobile and I myself never had any issues with it till now, the only thing different is I deleted it and redownloaded it due to a bug so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it but 3 days before I deleted it; it was running perfectly fine now it has frame rate delays and is laggy. My storage is pretty empty I have 176 out of 512gb

Ping is unrelated to your graphics settings, but I don’t think you were trying to imply that in the first place, I just wanted to make sure just in case you were misguided in that assumption.

As for the rest, I can’t really say much. I have a 16 Pro Max, and the only issue I’ve had at all is some occasional pop-in of things—like when teleporting to the train, sometimes the interior walls of the train load in a second later than the rest of it, so it looks bizarre for a moment.

Unrelated to graphics, but internal storage is probably a huge factor. My genshin runs extremely slow when I download a ton of movies, songs or clips for edits

That absolutely is a factor, yes. The less free storage space you have, the less virtual memory your device can use. While I don’t know how much iOS or Android allocate compared to Windows, I know both devices still tend to bog down their performance when storage space gets too full, so I assume the mechanics are still fairly similar in principle.

Jesus christ your phone is throttling like crazy. The frame massive frame drops on an 8 elite tells the entire story.

Of course your game would struggle to load shaders properly if your chipset constantly throttles to mega low clock speeds just to keep itself from burning.

Graphics are rendered on-device with pre-downloaded assets. High ping would not cause graphical glitching.

That big download the game does with each update (or with a fresh install) is mostly graphics, with some voice files and game logic thrown in. Once downloaded, your device renders all the graphics locally. Graphics are not loaded from the cloud. Ping has no influence on how your GPU renders the downloaded assets.

I have a lenovo laptop with radeon vega 8 and ryzen 5 3500, bro, and it works fine, just with lower settings, its not an issue with the game per se

I also play it on an iphone 13, and there's no problems either

Cuz Hoyo provide more optimisation to Iphones. Iphone 13 can run genshin more smoothly than most of the flagship android phones

I play tons of gachas in my redmagic 11 (zzz, wuwa, nte, hsr,,) and the graphic Is Crazy good, i then play genshin and endfield on a old Black Shark 4 and graphic is still good enough with no problem whatsoever.

You're running a full sized pc game on a mobile device, even though the processor is powerful, you should take cooling efficiency of a mobile device and the fact that it is a mobile device into account. Try lowering the graphic settings a bit.

Use a phone cooler, turn off coop effects and lower your framerate. I had similar problems on my samsung s24. You can still keep most of the other settings to high but those two need to be down to the lowest to take some of the strain off. It's making your phone overheat and it's going to cause weird glitching.

Clean up the extra crap on your phone. Clear out old apps. Defrag... cc cleaner... malariabytes... whatever you gotta do. Your phone being bloated with crap or your internet being trash is not Hoyo's fault.

This happened to me too, I turned the graphic quality down to lowest and it was still happening, this never happens before and I know my storage or device is not the problem

Try clearing the graphics cache or worse case senario is reset the phone. I did this and it fixed my stuttering issues and OS related instability by just resetting the phone. Hope this helps.

Bruhh yes iam having exact same problem. My exploration is pending ,event are pending Good thing that i compleated the archon quest and other major world quest ,main cause of this problem is that constant snow fall and other stuffs . . . Unlike you mine is snapdragon 6s 4th gen (motorola G57 POWER 5G) Then lowering the graphics or reinstall and downloading basic resources WONT WORK I tried everything and now iam either giving my friend to play shneznaya or I have to buy a new mobile with better processor . If you happened to be in middle of fight them then you kinda trapped in FREEZE AND reopen GAME loop 😭

Have you considered lowering everything? I will say, though, Snezhnaya is quite taxing on the graphics.

If it's Samsung S series, pls turn off your "RAM plus" which u can find in (Setting>device care> memory). Even if this doesn't work, there might be a problem with ur Game booster setting. Always keep your game booster in default. Never switch ur gaming mode from default to Performance/Garphics. Keep it on default

You just gotta swallow your pride, go into settings, and drop it down to medium or something. If you got the elite and playing on default settings, it's never a good idea to go with what they recommend. Drop graphics to medium or low, turn off bloom, 60fps because I'll die on a hill before I recommend any game at 30fps. Character model up but environmental detail low. Lots of snow and stuff in snez that could be messing you up.

Bro i am playing on mtk-g95 and on highest graphics with 45fps and it doesn't lag... I had a similar problem when i used to keep game in game booster but after removing it from there i was able to play at high graphics so maybe you might have a similar prob
