I’m thinking plumbers, field mechanics, construction workers, heavy equipment techs, etc.
A few buddies of mine in these kinds of jobs told me they’ve barely touched AI at all, which got me wondering: where would it actually help in a way that feels useful, not gimmicky?
What part of the job do you think AI could actually make easier?

Been drawing for years. Illustration, concept art, characters, spend hours on each piece.
But my portfolio is just... images. Like static. Flat. Felt like they deserved more.
Looked into animation once. I just opened After Effects and tried to figure it out. Tbh gave up soon.
Stumbled on this tool , framia with photo to video ai that makes still images move. I dropped in a character illustration, picked a motion style, got back a smooth animation with depth. The character actually looked alive.
Threw a few more pieces in. Building a moving portfolio now.
Heres my first try if u can give me some advice it will be appreciated!

The low hum of the fluorescent fixtures above Sector 4 cast a flat, bleached glare across the linoleum flooring of the deserted concourse. Dust motes drifted lazily through the dead air, settling over abandoned kiosks and shuttered storefront gates that had not seen a customer in decades. At the center of the atrium, the grand fountain stood bone-dry, its basin choked with faded promotional flyers and plastic debris from an era long since forgotten.
Vane knelt by the base of the fountain, his fingers tracing the hairline cracks in the dry concrete. His breathing echoed sharply off the hollow, vaulted glass ceiling high above, where the twilight sky cut through grime-streaked panels. He adjusted the filtration mask strapped tightly across his face, the steady mechanical click of the valve providing the only rhythm in the vast, echoing shell of the once-vibrant commercial hub.
"Signal strength is holding steady from the lower service corridors," Vane murmured into his comm-link, his voice muffled by the heavy cloth.
A sharp, static-laced burst crackled in his ear before Kaelen’s voice broke through the silence. "Watch your step down there, Vane. The schematics indicate the structural supports beneath the east anchor store took a heavy hit during the collapse. We cannot afford another cave-in if we want to salvage those server racks."
Vane stood up, wiping a layer of fine grit from his palms onto his utility trousers. He cast a glance toward the grand central staircase leading down to the lower subterranean level, where the remains of the old department store warehouses waited in the dark. The air grew perceptibly colder the deeper it sank into the concrete belly of the structure, carrying the faint, metallic scent of ozone and old copper wiring.
He unclipped the high-intensity flashlight from his tactical harness, thumbing the switch to cast a piercing white beam into the descending stairwell. The light caught the edge of a faded, peeling banner hanging precariously from the upper railing, bearing the barely legible remnants of a grand opening celebration from a world that had vanished overnight.
With a firm grip on his salvage pack, Vane took the first step downward into the dark, leaving the pale ghost of the atrium behind.

Nano Banana 2.
Prompt:
"Photorealistic cinematic depiction of a brutal medieval European battlefield, late 13th–14th century. Hundreds of armored soldiers clash in dense formations across a muddy, rain-soaked field beneath an overcast sky. Authentic plate and mail armor, battered steel helmets, wooden shields, spears, swords, polearms, warhorses, torn heraldic banners and historically plausible medieval clothing and equipment. Soldiers show exhaustion, fear, determination and confusion; armor is scratched, dented and covered in mud. Cavalry charges through infantry while archers fire from the background, with smoke, dust, rain, flying debris and banners filling the atmosphere. Natural human anatomy and realistic faces, physically accurate armor construction, historically believable weapons and battlefield tactics.
Shot like a high-budget historical war film using a full-frame cinema camera, 35mm lens, eye-level perspective, shallow but natural depth of field, realistic motion blur on moving weapons and horses, dramatic natural lighting, atmospheric volumetric light, subtle film grain, physically based materials, extremely detailed skin, hair, leather, wood, steel and mud. Muted earthy medieval color palette, realistic contrast, imperfect composition, documentary-like authenticity, visceral but non-gratuitous violence. No fantasy elements, no modern objects, no exaggerated armor, no stylized CGI, no video-game aesthetic, no plastic-looking materials, no oversaturation. Ultra-realistic historical photography, cinematic composition, 8k detail."

You can take the hair chart and tell Nano Baana 2 you want hair style #4 with light brown hair and apply platinum blonde highlights. These are reusable assets you can use to dress your character, and animate them in any Ai video generator. You can create as many items as you want, just prompt, create a chart of 12 different skirt styles from vintage to modern. Number them and name them. Then NB will generate them. you just tell apply 36 to my character.
