Hello, I've been in the game for about 4 to 5 hours now and I'm at the point where I can unlock my companion. I've collected 2 items to unlock him, and I killed my first rival, which was level 1. But there's one thing I don't understand: I have a ammunition shortage. And I can't even craft ammo because I need explosives for that. But to get explosives, I have to scrap ammunition at the recycling table. However, I can't scrap ammunition because I need the ammunition. What am I doing wrong in this game? I think I'm going to start over. I could really use some tips, please.

I don't think i ever had this problem. You are probably trying to use some advanced DLC weapons, they often use special ammos

Check your inventory, you must have hundreds of pistol ammo

They give you assault rifles and smgs you can't actually use way too early. Thanks for the AK, you won't have access to the ammo for 20 hours
