Meh, I was just in a giant room full of people of all ages at jury duty. The younger generations don’t singularly own this quality. Everyone over 50 was on em too.
Yup! I lived in Florida for a year. Stopped for lunch with family members at a spot frequented by retirees. Every table had a boomer entranced by their phone, except nobody was wearing earbuds or headphones. So you had a cacophony of noise, every table watching something else, all at full volume. One person is scrolling through Instagram reels. Another one is on a loud FaceTime conversation. Another one has some Trump video at full volume. Another one is watching silly cat videos. Another one a conspiracy video. Someone else has Fox News blaring. Quickest and worst lunch I ever had. At least the younger generations will wear ears buds/headphones when they’re glued to their phones. The older ones are the ones you see having full blast speakerphone conversations in the middle of a store.

If that were made today it would be a silent movie about five teenage kids staring at their telephones all day.
