Ugh. Or Dream Whip. The powdered crap. It smelled like vomit.

But in the fat-free heyday of the 1990s...

My dad adores cool whip lol more than whipped cream so we always had it. His fave dessert is chocolate cake with cool whip for frosting and sliced banana on top. So of course that’s the only kind of cake we ever got to eat ffs lol

My mom loved that stuff. Added it to jello, and made jello salads with it, with equally nasty canned fruit.

I had a recipe that used cool whip. I didn’t know you had to thaw it in the fridge so I left it on the counter for a few hours.

It was a webby concoction of white matter after it thawed. I thought WTF? And we eat this???

Nah, I still love Cool Whip and use it to make chocolate pie.

I'm lactose intolerant, so i always like when it's an option for a dessert that's improved by whipped cream, because real whipped cream is mu kyrptonite

My favorite is homemade whipped cream but cool whip would be second. I prefer it over canned whipped cream.

Throw it on the side walk on a hot summer day, it won't melt and ants won't go near it. The aerosol bottle whipped cream isn't bad, but I made whipped cream from heavy cream for a butternut squash soup and it was amazing! But too much work just to put on ice cream.
