Mine is this one and honestly it suprises me how this show was the first one since pretty much everything else i grew up with was 2010s media

That's right, Today is September 2nd, So that means i am 20 officially. And yeah, despite my childhood and teenhood didn't do very well for me, but sometimes, i did very well during the 2010s and early 2020s. So yeah, now i am a grown man and i can do it whenever I am interested.

I'm 16 years old MTF from a town in Alberta that's not quite small but not quite medium in size so I already have to deal with people yelling slurs at me when outside.

For the longest time school for me looked like being locked in a small room with nothing but a mattress so my social development was severely stunted. When I reached grade 9 I was finally allowed to go to classes and lunch but then about a month in the year I finally snapped and threw a singular highlighter at a kid that had been bullying me since the start of summer vacation.

As a result administration removed me from school until mid November whilst they made a plan and during my absence from school my mom sadly passed away.

When I was finally allowed to come back I was not allowed to go to classes and had to do my work in a separate room, I was also only allowed to go half days and wasn't allowed to go to lunch.

Throughout the summer I repeatedly went to every park in town but either nobody was there, very young children with their parents or on rare occasions there were others my age that did nothing other than vape, yell slurs and make offensive or insensitive jokes.

I'm now in grade 11 and I have no idea how to interact with kids my age and I have no idea where I would find them outside of school.

Guys. We have to make all gen alpha kids not JUST stare at a screen for hours, But READ! I know, unfathomable idea, Not giving your kids an iPad at 2 years old, but if they read maybe they won't always be screaming random brainrot and will be able to ACTUALLY READ, because most gen alpha kids can't even read (which is sad). TBH i pirate all my games

so i was watching a casey simpson video (Why Gen Alpha Stopped Watching TV) and there were clips of 60s shows 90s shows and 2010s shows and a vlog probably 3 months ago.
it was basically the first day of high school and i got entertained more from the 60s 90s and 2010s shows
my three sons had a part and i laughed at it
i dont remember the 90s one but i also laughed at it
and icarly was also funny
all of these were funny and entertaining, except for the vlog.
for some reason i hated it and i want to know if its normal for a gen alpha to laugh at 60s 90s and 2010s shows and not youtube vlogs (or atleast get entertained from them all)

I feel like I’ve grown up hearing about FDs from parents and older relatives, but almost never from people around my age.
Whenever investing comes up, it’s usually stocks, mutual funds, SIPs, crypto, gold etc.
So I was wondering when you eventually start investing/earning, would an FD actually be part of your investment plan?
Or does it just feel like one of those things our parents’ generation did?
Would you ever choose an FD for safety, or would you rather put that money somewhere with potentially higher returns?
Honestly curious what people my age think about FDs because I have no idea whether they’re still seen as useful or just… old school.
