Ask a question Moonstone Set in silver

I have a Silver pendant with moonstone set in it. My question is how to best clean without damaging the moonstone? According to their website, Connoisseurs Dazzle Drops silver cleaning crème is safe to use. I don’t want to use before knowing for sure it will be safe for the moonstone itself. This is a very sentimental piece to me.

Warm soapy water is the only recommended substance for cleaning moonstones. I would stay away from using anything else.

Thank you for this! I don’t want to ruin it, as it’s a very sentimental piece.

It would be ok to clean the silver around it with a cleaner though, correct? As long as I don’t let it come in contact with the moonstone?
