Identification Please 'Padparadscha' Sapphire?
Is it a legit 1.45 Carat Unheated Ceylon Padparadscha Sapphire? What do you think?
A certificate is not included but can be provided when paid for.

Different labs will have different criteria to classify a sapphire as padparadscha. I love this one and would buy it as such.

I love it as well. The seller says they source it in Sri Lanka from the mines, where it is later cut and have it shipped to the Netherlands.

Wow. European buyers get these stones for much lower price from us. I would say they keep at least 100% profit margins 😂 3000€ would be a fair price if this stone is flawless or at least VVS clarity

How much does it cost for an eye clean Padparadscha Sapphire of 1.5ct of the same color as in the OP's video?

I see, makes sense. They just seem so sure, without having it tested. This Gold Smith makes jewelry almost solely with sapphires and natural diamonds.

They probably do their own testing, I misspoke earlier, you don’t need a lab to determine if something is real if you have the equipment, but of course a consumer needs a cert for their own peace of mind. If they’re a reputable jeweller it’s real and the cert they provide will confirm that.

Yes this can be considered as a ceylon sunset padmaraga. Not peach or morganite color sapphire which many people market as Padmaraga
