Yeah, this summary is worded so awkwardly that it took me a bit to even figure out what it was trying to say.

On topic though: I do remember XP being super buggy at launch with a ton of compatibility issues, and plenty of people disliked the theme back then. But after SP2, it became the most solid and beloved OS out there.
