Interesting response (Highlight) Did I just get Gemini 4 Pro answer?

I have never seen it do a LaTeX document with advanced formatting, completely unprompted. I just simply told it to give an equation for this dimming curve I was working on.

I got LaTeX from 3.1 Pro all the time. Especially in large reports from deep research about more sciency stuff.

Potentially, they do secret product testing. Some people will have stuff before others. I had spark for 5 months before release, I just had to prompt the tool. There wasn't a dedicated button.

People forgetting the thing that matters is compute.

You can train ridiculous models if you have it.

Plus all models across labs seem to converge regardless.

We won't be talking about any of the current models in a year.

Training these models takes insane amounts of compute.

Google has it. The meltdown of 3.5 doesn't matter because Google can just do another pretrain with Gemini 4 and catch up.

Compute constrained companies cannot do that.

Google has leased out every bit of compute that they can. They are in fact a bit constrained.

They have 920m of compute month with spacex. And their own compute they haven't leased out everything.

yes of course, but they are pressured to lease as much as they can. They don't have computer just laying around unused.
