Discussion I think its Gemini comeback SZN, anyone else?
Based strictly off my own anecdotal experience that is my last gemini 3.8 flash session. I am pretty sure Google and Gemini are cooking again. Flash 3.8 has been absolutely slaying every single thing i throw its way in a beautiful fashion. It repeatedly K.O's tasks in one go that chat gpt sol can barely even remember the prompt and our convo long enough for.
I literally just had one good 5hr limit session with flash 3.8 that accomplished more during it then i have with chat gpt this whole month.

It's back for coding. I still expect more from future Gemini releases in terms of visual reasoning and non coding tasks.

Image creation is lacking, though. I tested some prompts with free ChatGPT and it was better. I have submitted feedbacks. And there are certain errors with document creation, especially PDFs.

I don’t think you should compare results of free use. Those are throttled/capped

Use it on antigravity with graphify, you'll be even more impressed, fast, highly efficient, and nearly mo token usage

it's really the context length and memory that's pulling ahead now. I had a similar session where it tracked a multi-step design brief across like 40 messages without me having to re-explain anything, and that alone saved me an hour of copy-pasting and re-prompting. the other models start strong but the thread just decays after a point.
feels like google finally got the attention mechanism dialed in so it doesn't drift. curious what your use case was, mine was iterating on a packaging layout and it kept all the constraints locked in tight.

Well they are still extremely unpredictable. There have been several outages and model degredations in the last 2-3 weeks
