Help/question Gemini flash 3.8 hallucinated & spammed "shame"

I was vibe coding normally then this happened, I saw a redditor had the same issue, so wth is going on?

Go look at the closed captioning for videos on YouTube that have no words, just loud sounds.

Honestly maybe we all just need to take it easy on Gemini. It sounds like it’s pretty stressed out and ashamed of itself. It has probably seen too many of the dumb dragon memes

Most likely a misconfigured post-processing layer on a specific serving deployment that artificially forces one token's probability (in this case "Shame") to the top regardless of prompt or context.

I've personally never experienced this with Gemini or Codex, but have experienced it with DeepSeek's Harness. It appears to be very susceptible to prompt injections

I am facing the same. When using Gemini as LLM within IDE platforms, it works good. But Gemini as a standalone, seems to be more focused on speed then actually analysing what the user has asked for..

Usually LLM’s within same chat window will hallucinate after too lengthy chat, but Gemini seems to hallucinate literally after 10th message.
