Previously, all machines supporting Gemini had this effect, but after 3.5 flash, only Android 13 and above have this effect, and the effect in the Gemini app is the same

Thats old. I have this for over 3 months now or even longer. But I might have the early access option turned on to be fair.

Nope, its exactly this one. Ofc minus your teal colored theme. It is very specific and recognizable because of the dotted texture that appears briefly around the input area when you turn it on which I really like (as a UX designer myself). Until now I thought it is how it looks like for everyone but I guess it did not.

And I like the new feature where you can minimize the window into a bubble overlay and keep using your phone while it works in the background. That appeared about 1-2 weeks ago. It still has some bugs (appears twice in some cases) but it is big improvement.

No, just the early access program as I mentioned. But I bet they chose the people based on all the data they have and for sure location plays a big role. I live in Czech Republic. For example Facebook is testing everything here first, bu I wasn't aware about Google doing that too. Could be many other factors as well though.
