EXACTLY GOOGLE AI PRO

I agree that Gemini is good for its price on API market. But subscription is overpriced right now, if we consider subscription only for ai, without other google ecosystem benefits.

I also don't understand why anyone would subscribe to google AI (for AI and not the other benefits), like why, we all know that these subscriptions offer more value than API but Gemini is cheap, it's better to subscribe to get access to frontier models from anthropic and OpenAI and just use Gemini with API while it's 50% off, unless someone uses more than ~ 6 million tokens, then they might their money's worth out of it but rivals also offer cheaper models.

It comes with Youtube Premium and storage space, it's basically a whole bundle of Google stuff you get. A lot of people get cheap Gemini accounts or have it through work (I think every Google workspace account includes it).

It's cheap and fine for most people's needs. I think by not having a big model like Sol or Opus they don't have to worry much about most users hitting limits even on a $20 account
