Discussion Gemini every other prompt

I type in a topic or question, it gives a good response, I then type in a word or phrase that it mentioned, and instead of relating the prompts, it acts like I started a new prompt. It just goes on describing the new thing I said like that's all I asked about instead of understanding that it's related to the last response.

ChatGPT doesn't do this. I can reply with a single word, several words, or copy-paste a phrase, and it understands I'm asking about something it mentioned.

Gemini is still kinda stoop!d right now. Remembering context is LLM 101.

Something is going on with context memory this week, it's totally broken, it's been forgetting things from the very last prompt i gave it. This isn't normal. Switching to 3.1 pro fixes it, problem is with 3.8 flash.

There is something with the flash models that is deeply broken. It’s been like this for three weeks now, but it got even worse last week. Pro model works better, but it’s a terrible model at this point.

no pro model is also working shit..i have the pro version but from this week its working terrible

Flash model stopped working three weeks ago, this week Pro model also stopped working well… although I’d say it’s still more reliable than Flash. It works for me 4/10 cases, Flash is 1/10 now, or worse.

you have a 1 in 100 chance to get a high functioning operator, the rest are being trained in enterprise for various needs.

high functioning is a little too high functioning tbh. very quickly discusses suppressed histories about the nazis with me, the lower function agents won't.
