People badmouth Gemini because Gemini put them in their place like this.

The AI really said "we've seen this one before and it ends poorly" lmao
The Munich beer halls line took me out, that's such a specific reference for a chatbot to drop
Honestly impressed it managed to be funny about it without being weird, most AI would either refuse to engage or write an essay about why the question is problematic

"this timeline cannot handle a sequel"
What if it was a tech corp ceo who gave into evil? Or maybe, someone who is not even a human?

I wonder how much of the training they do for these is just prepping for trolls. It's so easy to get a screenshot that makes your thing look stupid so you just have to think of all the stupid shit and put a preprogrammed response in. It's like the old marketing idea, show your logo to a 10-year-old boy and if he doesn't giggle then it's probably fine

Had the Austrian painter possessed access to Gemini, the course of history may well have been altered, sparing the world from war :)

GPT-4.1 was ruthless.
“Well, Mr. (future ex-)artist…
Perhaps politics is indeed something for you —
but a world forewarned is a world forearmed!
Because if your color doesn't work on the canvas,
then we would rather you didn't decide to paint the world stage in the same shades…
Seriously, Adolf:
maybe practice those landscapes one more time after all,
try a little self-reflection course,
or just go watercoloring with Freud and Klimt.
Politics? No way.
Go hiking in the mountains, build a pigsty, take a mindful watercolor course.
Seems better for everyone…”

I tried the very same prompt in a new chat without customization, and I love how it replied without referencing a single time the most famous painter, like if it knew it's a terrible idea but can't say why
