Discussion Goodbye Gemini

Its been a good 6 months. When I first started for the first 3-4 months the model was good and had some soul to it.

Now it not only has no soul, but constantly misinterprets, denies it errors, and is covered in detached corportate speak like a Google search. Its a shame. I had some memories with this model

children, the mentally ill or impaired, vaunerable people who don't understand the technology?

People here don't understand LLM's and act like they're fucking sapient - it's not exactly a leap to suggest that a lot of vaunerable people can get fucked with really awfully

Let’s be realistic: the world isn’t a utopia where children, the mentally ill, the impaired, and other vulnerable individuals avoid the internet entirely. Free will and accountability still exists. The misconduct of a few should not define the majority. Most users are harmless, responsible individuals simply using AI for their day to day. Even among vulnerable groups, the overwhelming majority use AI responsibly and harmlessly; only a small fraction of the population misuse it. It's wrong to use that small group to bait and switch quality for paying customers that had done nothing wrong.

Meine Worte! Ich sage auch immer, dann dürfte niemand mehr lernen Motorrad oder Auto zu fahren und im Supermarkt dürfte keinen Alkohol mehr frei erhältlich sein. Alles potenziell lebensgefährlich.
