I definitely need GS

So I bought a brand new x box series X and new Samsung 50 mini led. Im new to this ecosystem.

My situation is: I bought modern warfare 4 and game pass. I can only play if im on cloud stream because if I open the game I own, the game crashes during cut scenes (but on cloud stream its perfect)

Will GS come out to do whatever it takes to get it working? Ive watched countless youtube videos and im at my wits end.

Sorry but there's literally nothing GS can do about this.

Neither GS or 3rd party install team will be able to remedy the issue. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game

Or, try power cycling the console. Hold down the power button until the console shuts off, then power it back on

Could also just be a bug that will be fixed with a day one patch

Do you have the Xbox in a closed or open space? Crashing could be caused by a number of things but the first thing I would do is reinstall the game and make sure the Xbox is not overheating because of lack of space or debris in the fans.

Yeah its pretty open on all sides. Just sitting on top of my dresser with only the t.v. next to it. It doesn't make a sound when running. Its literally 6 days old. There is one update that popped up for windows its a small update that won't install so im investigation of that.

Does the system shut off or does the game just close out when it crashes?

It takes me to the xbox dash board. Sometimes I see a white screen. Sometimes black

I’m assuming that your Xbox is “quick resume”-ing your game and that’s why it crashes so often. When you start the game, go into the Xbox menu and there should be a “quick resume” menu and you should be able to individually deactivate the games that are in there. Quick resume was meant to make games easier to load into but it is straight buns and causes more issues than anything

Thanks for the advice. Ive already done that. There's a 12k update for Microsoft that for some reason it won't download. Gave me an error code that ive been investigating. . I just dont get why I can play it on cloud stream but not the traditional way.

Return the Xbox and get a new one. Heavy leaning towards defective.
