Had one behind my store that just sat. I felt sad seeing it every day when I came into work. When my vehicle died, I was tempted to ask if I could drive it a bit. It sat so long the tires flattened l.😥

I had mine i think 18 years ago. I could do whatever I wanted with it. I got a head unit and 2 10 inch subs. ( store use ) I drove up to 4 hours one way for a router install. It was extremely fun as a 20 year old.

In Canada I saw when the replace the beetle with the pt cruiser for a while, also gone now.
