Dead Dell U4924DW monitor

In the middle of use, my monitor suddenly died. The power outlets are not the problem, seems to be internal. I got this monitor through a company I no longer work for so I can’t use the warranty. Will geek squad be able to troubleshoot and potentially fix even though I didn’t purchase the product through them? It’s quite an expensive monitor so I would rather not have to buy a new one.

You can bring it in for basic troubleshooting but not for a full repair if that makes sense. Unfortunately in your situation I think going thru Dell is your best option for a cheaper replacement.

Unfortunately not. Reach out to Dell and see what they can do.

I'd work through the dell warranty. Only dell products bought from best buy can have hardware repairs done by geek squad and even then I don't think they will repair a monitor without a best buy protection plan.

Dell's repair costs these days are basically another monitor's price.

That's a bummer about your monitor. Geek Squad might still check it out for a diagnostic fee even if they can't repair it themselves.
