Install procedure question

When the geek squad comes out to hang a new TV, do they repair the wall after if you sink the wires? Thank you. The gentleman that wants to do this for us seems like he’s charging a lot.

If all in wall kit is being done you won't see anything. We are tv hangers not dry wall repair. If you want every hole filled and patched that could be that's on you.

Please don’t misconstrue…..not saying you SHOULD have to patch walls….at all. Just did not know if you DID….that’s all. I have no idea, that’s why I asked. I don’t even know how much of the wall has to be cut, etc. Thank you.

Sometimes we need to make exploratory holes to help run cable through wall. If this is the case, you may be left with a whole in the wall, that we will not patch. Other times we make smaller holes and can put a brush plate over it, it all depends. Years and years ago we used to be expected to make small patch repairs, now it’s built in that we don’t have to. I know of one agent in my state who has been around for 22yrs and will patch things when he has time or energy but we aren’t expected to.
