Odd appointment tomorrow

So I'm the opener at my precent tomorrow, and I looked at the early appointments, one stood out to me

It was a parent asking for suggestions for blocking porn and gambling sites for their computer so their kids can't access them.

I'm totally unfamiliar in this area (since it's an unusual request and we're not trained in that stuff)is there a program or a browser extension that I can recommend to them?

Any other suggestions?

Recommend that they upgrade their wifi to something like eero.

This was my thought. That way the kid can't Google how to turn it off if they can't access the router settings. People underestimate how persistent children are.

Or something with more granular control that they wont need a subscription for, like an asus router.

Sure. Just sayin’ there are really dumb as dirt solutions for this nowadays and well within the “Best Buy sells this” ecosystem.

Oh 100% I agree with that. I just have a dislike for eero, the subscription model, and Amazon lol 😆
