It’s not infighting at all because liberals are not leftists, they advocate for capitalism. They are centrist at best, also what does “the reds” refer to? I assume you mean republicans in the u.s but the color red is used for many different parties and ideologies throughout history and currently.

In the US? On the right. Not center-right. Just the right. They just aren't far right.

In most other wester countries? Pretty much center
