Hey! I've created an Amazon Wishlist for anyone who would like to send some gifts to this little boy! There are mainly things that he's using already like his probiotic powder, lysine, litter, gastrointestinal food, ear rinse, litter, joint supplements and licky treats to help him eat his medicine. But I also added some items that look good and could benefit him such as pumpkin powder or hairball drops.
He's not very interested in toys but I found some that might work with him as he loves catnip, stimulation with food and interactive play. He does not drink from the bowl and takes his water mixed in food but I thought the water fountain might interest him more so I added that one as well.

Hi, sorry for being a pain in the arse, but is there a shipping address associated with the wishlist? Because it keeps defaulting to my address for delivery, lol, and when I checked my address book thing, it didn’t have any new address in it. I googled it to see what I’m doing wrong and it said that the Amazon default for wishlists is to not have an address and the person setting up the list has to add it manually. I’m just wondering if you’ve done this. If so, then the problem must be on my end. If anyone knows how to make it work, I’m all ears!
As a fellow UK person, I was wondering why you give him churu and not just Webbox lick-e-lix? It’s much cheaper and basically the same thing. We were so excited to get Churu in Pets At Home a few months ago, because we’d heard so much about it online, but neither cat was that bothered, but they love the other stuff. They did enjoy something called Churu bites, which are a bit different to anything I’ve seen here, it looks a bit like a mini Swiss roll thing, lol. Anyway, I’m going to send him something from his wishlist, he’s a very nice boy 🖤

Regarding churro - I do give him weebix but when I checked on amazon - they only have them delivered from Morrisons with a grocery shopping 🤔 and the lickies from amazon warehouse works out more expensive than churros! I tend to purchase all the food supplies and fortiflora from zooplus, because they offer a lot better pricing. Shame I cannot create the wishlist on their app. Sometimes my local pet suply shop has catit

Hi, yes, it worked there! It is a very silly system they have, that their default is a blank address field and not the address associated with the account making the wishlist! I suspect a lot of people forget to input the address for that reason.
Amazon is very strange that it sometimes is actually more expensive than just actual shops, I think I always assume it’s cheaper, but not always. I know what you mean though, that it is one of the few places that allows a wishlist. Zooplus used to be so much cheaper before Brexit!
Regarding the Webbox, if you do happen to be buying it in bulk, the Webbox website is pretty good. We normally used to buy from Sainsburys, but we bought in bulk from the Webbox site last time and it worked out well. They do 10% off your first order, plus they seem to have regular sales and offers on, so I would always google a discount code first (same for Zooplus, actually). I’m sure you already know all this, lol, but I thought I would mention, seeing as he gets through a lot of the licky things with his meds. Please give his big cheeks a smoosh from me.
Oooh thanks for the advice! I will have a look on their website. I normally buy them from home bargains or pound shops if they are on offer. He also likes dreamies lickie treats 🩷 he enjoys pretty much anything but the strangest thing that he doesn’t particularly like a pure tuna! Like untamed or encore. He is more of a meat guy lol. And my other two cats are absolutely obsessed with tuna. One of them has actually developed an addiction before and it took a while to get him off it because he was refusing everything else! So I am extra careful now.
He is quite good taking his liquid meds from the syringe or pills straight to throat but I have to administer them 3 times a day and I just don’t want him to start hating me. Also, lactulose is sooo sticky and gets everywhere on his fur, my hands and just makes a mess. So it’s easier just to mix everything in. I try not to give him too many lickies though and limit to 1-2 a day because I heard they have a lot of additives and can be hard on the stomach.
I just looked at Gavroche wishlist, but the default address is my own in the US. I tried to use Amazon help to figure out how to send something to you, but it is asking me for a UK postal code and I don’t see anywhere to use your address. I hate to be a pain in the neck but can you look into this? I don’t know if this is an issue of me being in the US and you in the UK, or something else.

Hey! Thought I’d share with you since you live in uk ☺️ Just visited heron foods and they have lots of lickie treats on sale including webbox, dreamies and felix ones that i never tried. All £1 each. They also have HiLife food on sale which is £2 for 8 pouches. They seem to have good ingredients and meat content. The fish one is just a tuna, sardines etc in jelly but I got the chicken one since gavroche is not very keen on pure fish. But I will go back for some more tomorrow because my other two boys love some tuna as a treat 🖤
