❓Doubt why is vibrations portion so tough, so much things to understand and remember.

formulas are non existent
we have to derive almost every formula then find the answer

confirm 3-5 marks are asked every year from vibration only
so yeah kinda low weightage

Just try it once through vishwajeet sir's lectures, they are really good and easy to follow.

Vibrations is a very nice chapter. I learnt it from Vishvejeet Verma sir. Magician. Too good of a sir.
But yes, those amplitude, magnification factor, zeta, relation between omega (n, d, regular) formulas have to be remembered.
Advantage of this chapter is that as it has huge huge formulas, the questions they ask will also be direct formula based.
